the Artist


Brianna Lewis is passionate about artistry and investing in wellness for her community to advance economically. She is an abstract expressionist painter largely inspired by artists Van Gogh, Kara Walker and Barkely L Hendricks. Her collections are bold, colorful and figurative to ensue emotions reflecting current events and societal shifts in consciousness.


She has successfully managed her art business Brianna Nechelle Art which has been recognized by icons Erykah Badu and Spike Lee via social media. Her work has also been observed by one of

America's top Illustrators and painters, Mark English while he resided in Kansas City until his passing in 2019.


Her original artwork has been sold nationally and observed various spaces from the homes of her clients to galleries, non-profit organizations, and institutions. She has been interviewed for her philanthropic work and art donations to local communities supporting minorities.


Brianna wanted to empower her community on a deeper level and learn more about pyschology to fuel her work. As a result, she pursued her Masters in Clinical Social Work and is dually licensed as a LMSW in Kansas and Missouri. Her clinical background allows her to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through a person-centered, trauma informed, and holistic frameworks to meet clients where they are and establish life changing goals.


In her free time, she enjoys donating and volunteering for organizations ReMerge, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Uzazi Village, 1000dreamsfund, and The Dinner Table Documentary all geared towards supporting the community. She facilitates a free virtual support group for black mother's called Heyyy Momma! She also enjoys mentoring other women entrepreneurs by helping them define their mission and pursue their business ideas as well as scoping opportunities to build their platforms.
